Extinction Rebellion was born in October 2018 in the UK. Soon, this global civil disobedience movement against ecological collapse and global warming saw local groups spring up in the 4 corners of the globe. There are now 500 groups in over 70 countries. In Fribourg, Switzerland, as elsewhere, the rebellion is getting organised. We followed the evolution of the group and the activists who make it up, to understand the motivations that drive them to practice non-violent civil disobedience, but also their doubts and hopes. © Athénaïs Python
